If you are looking for a used bike which has been refurbished to the highest standard, then you have come to the right place.

Gloucestershire Bike Project offers lovingly refurbished bikes in all shapes and sizes.

You are very welcome to come down and see what we have in stock or discuss what youwant. There is plenty of parking space and an area where you can test ride any of our refurbished bikes before deciding to buy.

Gloucestershire Bike Project is a not for profit social enterprise so all profits are used to fund our work in the community. We raise the majority of our funding for our community work through our Bike Shop based in Barton Street in Gloucester.

Once our bikes have been checked over, serviced and refurbished, we offer them for sale at our Barton Street workshop at very reasonable prices. What we have in stock varies from day to day, we sell racers and iconic vintage machines, mountain bikes, ladies stepthrough town bikes and dutch style loop frames, shoppers and childrens bikes. We always have  some very reasonably priced bikes in stock, as we understand that not everyone is looking for a clasic bike, so we always have some bikes that make great commuting bikes or leisure bikes as well as the more rare classic bikes.

Prices start £65 for adults entry level mountain bikes, hybrids starting at £90 with racers and vintage bikes starting at around £75. We also have higher end bikes ranging upto £650.

We also sell unrefurbished bikes, particularly vintage classics and retro road bikes. These bikes make excellent projects and help to keep more bikes from our heritage on the road. If you are looking for a project, get in touch, I'm sure we will have something for you.

As what we have in stock changes from day to day,  it is always worth popping in and having a look. We strive to provide the community with access to reasonably priced, roadworthy bicycles that are serviced to a very high standard by our Cytech Level 3 mechanic.

If you are looking for a second hand bike and you want the peace of mind that comes from buying a bike from a bike shop, we can help, all our bikes come with a warranty and a free tune up after a month.

We will give you honest advice to make sure the bike you get is the best bike for you.

Getting a bike from us ensures you are gettinga  bike that is fully refurbished to British safety standards, it also means that you are contributing to your local community as we use funds raised from refurbished bike sales to run a range of workshops for young people in the area.

Gloucestershire Bike Project is the only bike shop in Gloucester where you get more than value for money, you also get social value for your money.

Viewings and try outs are  welcomed and encouraged.
