Do you have a bike you could donate to the project? These bikes help to fund all the grassroots cycling projects we run so we'd be very grateful for any bike you have but no longer need.
Projects this year include donating bikes to young people in care, or care leavers.
We have some new projects planned to get bikes to people who can really benefit from having access to a bike such as people experiencing mental health problems, refugees and asylum seekers who are on extremely low incomes.
And, again this year, we are collecting bikes for children in need which will be refurbished and made available for Christmas gifts and birthday gifts for families who are struggling financially.

Purchased a Trek FX3 from Glos Bike project this last week. The service was brilliant. I am a bit obsessive about my bikes so I was really pleased to find just how well the bike had been put together when I returned home. The brakes, pedals , chain had all been well lubricated. There is even small amount of grease around the seat post to stop any water etc getting into the frame.
They are down to earth people, very friendly and professional. They took a lot of time making sure I had the right bike for me and the right size frame. They know how to assemble a bike. I've bought previous bikes from other places that I have always found have just thrown the bike together. These people care!

We now have a good range of TREK models in stock and are taking orders for the whole range.
Though demand is high, so there will be a wait for some models.

To book, please call the shop and we'll get you in the diary. Slots fill up quickly though, so get your booking in early!
No job is too big or too small and we are committed to great customer care. Your bike will be treated like one of our own, no matter what the job.
Donate a Bike
We still need bikes to refurbish and sell to help fund the project and to help re-establish our free youth bike building projects, which we hope to start again soon.
If you have a bike you no longer need, we would be very glad to have it. Bikes can be dropped off Tuesday - Saturday 9-4, following our social distancing procedures, or we can arrange to collect.

We run a variety of community projects each year;
Youth projects where young people can build a bike for free, or learn to maintain their bike, riding sessions and work experience. We have projects focused on donating bikes to kids who are in care, and local special schools among others. We offer volunteering programmes for older adults as well as free bike maintenance workshops and courses to the wider community. We deliver Dr bike sessions in the community, helping keep people safe on their bikes and many more projects.
Our response to the pandemic was to donate all our bikes to NHS and key workers, just our way of playing our part.
As many of our customers know, we are a social enterprise, this means we reinvest our income to benefit the community. During the first year of the pandemic, our main project focus was to donate bikes and accessories to NHS workers, Key workers and other essential workers. To date we have donated over 101 new and refurbished bikes. We are proud of this and want to thank all our customers and the people who donate their bikes to us. Without you, we couldn't do what we do. Thank you. This project has finished for now and we begin to prepare bikes in time for Christmas to donate to young people who need them.
