The new shop and workshop is now open for bike sales, servicing, free bike loans and free bike building workshops and courses, our free kids projects start in Feb and the free adult workshops in March and will then run throughout the year.

Bike servicing and repairs as well as vocational mechanics courses and bike maintenance workshops will start again once we have moved, please do get in touch if you are interested in coming to our bike maintenance evenings or our vocational courses.

Thanks to a grant of £25,000 from the Summerfield Charitable Trust we are developing a new service at our new site, The Summerfield Learning Centre and Workshop will enable us to offer a wider range of opportunities to some of the most vulnerable young people and adults in Gloucestershire.

We have also been lucky enough to receive a grant of almost £50,000 from Biffa Award to help with the refurb of our new site. This will allow us to refurbish the whole ground floor, including rewirng and putting in an accessible toilet.

We are delighted to be working with Roberts Limbrick on the plans for our new and bigger site in Commercial Road, watch this space for updates.....

Working Together

Gloucestershire Bike Projects aims include reducing the number of salvageable bikes going to landfill or being melted down and lost from use and encouraging and empowering people to get out there on their bikes.

New projects

We are now working with The Isis Women's Centre in Gloucester, delivering our course designed for ex-offenders who want to build their skills and get a qualification in bike maintenance and repair.
