Become a Supporter

Whether you are a company that wants to help or an individual, there are lots of ways you can support the project.

If you are  a local business you could put our Donate a Bike Poster up on your notiice board or send around our Donate a bike email. which we have designed. We always need bikes and there are so many old bikesout there.

If you have a volunteer programme, perhaps your staff could spend a day on a donate a bike challenge: contacting friends, family and colleages to ask if they have any old bikes and signing them up to donate a bike to us, or collecting bikes that had been donated.

Maybe you could set up a company monthly lottery where a percentage of the proceeds goes to the winner and percentage to us to support our vulnerable young peoples bike building workshops?

If you would like to set up a staff bike share scheme, you could purchase some bikes through us, we are a Trek stockist and offer cycle to work schemes and we could service them bi-nnually to make sure they are in tip top condition. We have helped a number of organisations do just this and we are known for our honest advice on getting the right bikes.

You could book our experienced team of mechanics to come to your site to do a Dr Bike service for staff who cycle to work. We work with a number of companies and organisations to provide this service, including Ecotricity, Gloucester City Council, Kohler Mira and many more. The revenue raised from the Dr Bikes is then ploughed back into the wider project.

We are always open to ideas of ways in which local businesses and their staff wouldl ike to get involved.

Financial support is of course always welcome and is vital for us to continue to develop new projects, we are currently looking for a local business who woul dlike to makeus their non profit partner.

Any individuals out there that would like to help, we would be happy to discuss ways in which you can support us. One of the easiest and most useful ways is to contact people you know in an effort to get more bikes donated.
